Football and Cheer

This year Blake and Cody are playing football and Paige is cheering. So far Blake's team is 2-3. He's doing good. They have 2 more games. I think they can win their last 2 games.

Cody's team is 5-0. They are doing awesome! They started out with an awesome coach but some unfortunate things happened and Justin ended up being their head coach. The kids love him and the other coach. They only have 14 kids on the team but they are doing so good!

Paige is loving cheer. She knows all the cheers and learned the dance. She's the cutest cheerleader out there.

School and Birthdays

So has started again. Yay! The kids all got great teachers this year. I'm so excited! Blake is in 5th, Cody in 2nd and Paige in Kindergarten.

I wanted to do signs for the kids to hold this year but didn't get the boys just Paige. She was so funny and such a good girl. I asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said, "A mother", and started singing "When I grow up, I want to be a mother and have a family." Love that girl! She also turned 5 August 15. We had all the cousins there. It was so much fun!

Aunt Jamie gave Paige a Rapunzel wig and needless to say it was a hit.

Next was Gavin's 3rd birthday, which was even bigger than Paige's. We did it Labor Day weekend and everyone was camping.

4th of July

We went to Eagar for the 4th of July. The kids got to see their cousins and the women got to do crafts. It was a good time!

Family Trip Days 3 & 4

Ok right about now I'm thinking we were crazy to do all this in 3 days with 4 kids. So the next morning we took the kids by the train station (mostly for Gavin, he loves trains). They got to see the people get on and watch the train take off. Paige didn't like it the noise.

After the trains we went to Bearizona. The whole family loved this! They have a part you drive through and you see bears, buffalo, wolves, sheep, all kinds of stuff. Then they have a part where you can get out and walk around. They also have a little bird show, which was pretty neat.

After Bearizona we drove to Prescott. There we relaxed and stayed the night. We got up and went home the next morning. It was good to be home!

Family Trip Day 2

The next day we got up and went to the deer farm in Williams. Paige was a little scared. Gavin was terrified. The deer knew when you had food and would swarm you. It was kind of funny but the little ones didn't like it.

Then after that drove up to the Grand Canyon. The kids liked it for about 1/2 hour then they were done. But they were really good.

After the Grand Canyon we went back to Williams and stayed the night.

Family Trip

A couple of days after we went to Greer we went on a family trip. We started out by going to the Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert.

This is Newspaper Rock. The kids really liked looking at all the petroglyphs. Then we went to Meteor Crater.

After that we stayed the night in Flagstaff. We took the kids to see Madascar 3. It was a super long day!

Greer

In June, Grandma Peggy rented a cabin for the family to go to for a couple of days. It had a game room with a pool table, ping pong and air hockey. The kids spent most of their time there. There were 2 master bedrooms and each of them had a jacuzzi tub. The kids loved it. We ate some good food and relaxed. We also went to the Butterfly Museum and learned some interesting things.
