Wow! I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted last. Soooo many things have happened. I'm sure I won't be able to remember them but I will try. I'll start with June. We were able to go to Greer with Justin's family. Peggy got us all a couple of nights in a really nice cabin. Unfortunately we were only able to stay 1 night before we got evacuated because of the Wallow fire. Things got pretty crazy during the fire. We were able to have Peggy stay with us and my family stayed at Jana's. We had lots of fun playing games and hanging out. Somewhere in there Cody played t-ball. He had lots of fun and looked like a pro. At the end of the month, we went to Grand Junction, CO for the Crick family reunion. That was a lot of fun. We did a lot of sightseeing on our way up and down but we lost most of our pictures from June because our SD card got messed up. We went up through Ouray and stopped to see waterfalls and sit in the hot springs in the middle of town. We took the kids to see the dinosaur museum in Fruita. They thought was really neat. It was fun getting to see all relatives I don't get to see very often. The kids had a good time. On the way back we went through Telluride and then took the kids to see the 4 corners. Here are a couple of pictures we managed to save. They're from the end of the trip, Telluride and Four corners.

The 4th of July was fun, as always. Except, Show Low didn't have fireworks because it was so dry. Justin and a couple of his friends did the Wild Cow Riding in St. Johns for the 24th. That was fun to watch. They had to rope a cow and saddle it, then ride it to were they were supposed to finish. They had theirs roped and saddled first but they just couldn't get the cow go to go where they wanted it to. It was fun though!

Then in August we had 2 birthdays. Paige turned 4 and Gavin turned 2.

Blake is playing football again this year. He's been doing really well. He's been playing wide reciever and seems to like it. Cody is really wanting to play. We tried to get him to when we signed Blake up but Cody didn't want to then. So far, Blake's team has won all their games.

It's been so long since I've updated this I'm not sure I can remember everything. I will start with Blake. He's playing baseball this year and is doing really well. They have a pretty good team. They have only lost 2 games and they were to the same team. I don't have any pictures yet but I will post them once I get some. He is also signed up for football this year. He finished 3rd grade. I can't believe he'll be in 4th grade next year!

Cody just finished kindergarten. He had a little celebration where they sang a few songs. It was really cute. He's so excited to be in 1st grade next year. (So am I!)He will be playing t-ball next month and soccer after that.
Paige just finished her first year in preschool. She loved it! It was nice to be able to ask what she learned and have her tell me instead of saying "I don't know" like my boys. She's alot of fun and can be super cute, although she definitely has her moments.

Gavin is growing up so fast. He's really starting to develop a personality. He can be so much fun. He's such a monkey. He loves to climb and get into stuff. It's amazing how much trouble he can get into!
T
oday we took the kids out in the woods for a picnic. It was pretty windy so we didn't get to do much but we did see 2 bull snakes. The boys loved it!

January

Cody turned 6 on the 21st. He got a lot of good gifts and had a good time with his friends.

I have to tell you Gavin is such a crazy little boy. He has written on our walls and door 3 times with markers. He is always climbing on something. He is so curious about everything! And whenever he eats it ends up in his hair, on his clothes, and on the floor and blinds. He definitely keeps us busy!

Christmas

A couple of days before Christmas we went to Grandma and Grandpa Crick's and made gingerbread houses. The kids got really creative, although I think Jill was the most creative. She made a stable with Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus. Very cute!

On Christmas Eve, we dipped chocolates - LOTS of chocolates. Then we had the Christmas party. The kids all dressed up for the Nativity story. It was a little crazy, but it turned out really cute.

Christmas Day was good. We opened presents at our house. The kids got way more than they needed, as usual. Then we went back to Springerville and hung out with family. Until the boys had a little accident on the 4-wheeler. Bryson ended up going to the hospital. We thought his arm was broke. Poor kid. He ended up with a dislocated elbow. I felt so bad. Besides that it was a good day.

Before Christmas

Cody had a program. It was really cute. Cody looked like he was going to cry through the whole thing. But he stayed up there!

On the 17th, Grandma Peggy had reserved us a cabin in Greer and got us all tickets to go to the North Pole. So Friday we met up with Peggy, Greg and Shane's family. We went to Greer and checked in to the cabin. Then, we went to eat dinner at Molly Butlers. After we ate, we went rode the trolley to the North Pole. We went to Santa's workshop and they got to meet some elves and dress some stuffed bears that the donated. Then they got to shoot pumping nerf gun things at the elves. The boys had a good time with that. They had cookies and hot chocolate, then they went to Elf University. There they learned about being good and having manners. They got to write letters to Santa and then they got to meet Santa. Then we rode back to Molly's on the trolley and we were supposed to listen to Mrs. Claus read a story but the kids were so tired that we just went back to the cabin. There we exchanged gifts and went to bed. In the morning, we checked out and then ate breakfast at Molly Butlers. It was a lot of fun. The kids loved it! We'll have to do it again sometime.
